Building an automated blog content engine with Make.com and ChatGPT.

How Make.com, ChatGPT, Airtable, Wordpress and Figma replaced a 5,000-15,000 PLN/month content team for a personal brand.

No time, no in-house skill, and no appetite to keep paying an agency or marketing team 5,000-15,000 PLN a month for blog content that still needed rounds of corrections before it could go live.

What we built

  1. One shared calendar and content database for everything published on the blog.
  2. The production process automated end-to-end in Make.com.
  3. Graphic components and templates built in Figma, matched to the owner’s brand vision.
  4. Full rollout: access, training, handover.

The result

The client now works from a single content base that, powered by GPT-3-based tooling, turns a blog article into a one-click job. The copy still needs a pass of editing, but that pass is:

  • No heavier than working with an outside copywriter. The level of client involvement stays about the same.
  • Scoped only to blog articles. Everything else follows the same template and generates without eating into anyone’s time.

Beyond the workflow itself, the owner got their organisational time back to spend on their actual work instead of marketing logistics, at a cost 10-30x lower than working with outside agencies; the tools involved run to a few hundred PLN a month.

Takeaway

Automation here didn’t remove the human editing pass. It removed everything around it: the briefing, the back-and-forth, the waiting. That’s usually where the real cost was hiding.
